The use of Big Data and AI in clinical medicine and biomedical research to guide clinical decisions has become a central aspect of precision medicine initiatives.

During this online event we will hear from Dr David Scheinker from Stanford University. He will explore these themes using a real life clinical example - the use of decision support software for glucose control for patients with type 1 diabetes. The adoption and spread of these new technologies can be challenging and it is important to consider the support tools, the operational and financial planning, that need to be in place.

David is Founder and Director of Systems Utilization for Stanford Medicine, Executive Director of Systems Design and Collaborative Research, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, and Associate Professor, Pediatric Endocrinology.
